Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

      man that sucks big time...

I so want to extend my warranty for just peace of mine. I know one dealer who said I can, and they don't mind having the REVO etc, but if that manager leaves the dealership, I don't know if I will be covered!!!

      Hmm....
      06 Polo GTI - REVO Stage 2 = 140kw @ wheels.
06 Golf GTI - Bluefin Stage 1 blacked out with ED30 theme, leather, xenon, etc.

My warranty is keeping enough cash in the bank to buy a crate engine if needed. It's less stressful than talking to a dealership haha.

I have also heard of turbo’s blowing out of warranty but if you have full service history with VW u can apply for a “good will claim” and VW will replace the necessary parts bearing the full cost…
And u have 2 know sum1 at the dealership – make friends before its too late, if the managers leave’s u kinda lost…
Btw I am getting my Pgti back on Friday, new turbo being fitted on Wednesday
