Lower suspension arm bushes!!

Hey Jim, Thats great mate, the sort of info I need.

I'm great with Technology, but useless with the mechanicals.

I'm looking for solutions to stop tramping and have already done the dogbone mount and have H&R springs.

At the end of the day with APR V2 torque and stock tyres, there is only so much that can be done, but if its cheap parts and easy to fit, I'm interested...

The Seat bushes are ally cased and the housing is ally as well and this is where it gets tight, and the originals are encased with plastic. Easy to remove in place, but tricky to fit in place, ive done a few now, i pulled them in with a void bush tool and geez it had to work hard. Next ones ill be pressing in, a fair bit easier pressing them in, for the DIY you i would think hard about it mate, but they do make a difference.

Nah, I wouldn't do it myself, Don't think between my screwdriver and shifter i'd get much done

Think the real mods have to be done by someone who knows what they're doing and as I didn't even know where they would go, thats not me).

Whats it worth? an hour? Think it will help with the tramping? Will the ride be any rougher?

Just looking at the poly options for the front wishbone bushes and see Superpro have a few options which I can't quite make sence of, can you shed some light on this please Jimmy?

Ok mate the first kit is the one most have been using with the Seat solid rubber, i see they do a rear too which comes in the form of 2 bushes. The anti lift one can be set to give more positive castor, which again is supposed to give a better steering response, i still think the solid rubbers will do the job better.

Totally with the solid rears but consider the fronts are factory solid rubber, see where im at???? What do the rest of you think???????

have you heard of a polo with these frt, lower, rear solid bushes with the solid lower gearbox mount? will it be to stiff in the frt? and can these be fitted to golf gti?

Ok on the Golf i can get the part number , the bushes you want for that are TT solids mate, Back to the Polo a few peeps got them now, some may feel some more vib through the chassis, but had no real complaints.

Changed loads of knackered golf ones mate, and like i say Polo ones dont fit, you should be looking at TT solids.
