  • Help please!

I just brought a brand new polo, Its a 5door pacific.

Im still on my reds so i couldnt get a car with turbo...BUT i like the gti grill and the trimmings on the gti.

Is there anywhere i can buy the grill and get the trimmings done?

I searched it on the forum already but nothing came up.

Can't see why it wouldn't there is a member on here called Polo spec d, who has done the entire conversion.

congrats on your purchase- they're a great, solid little car.

yes, they should be a straight swap out.

            Thank you!

I havnt actually got it, Its paid for its just not in Australia as of yet.

What im planning to do is change the grill to a honeycomb one, Get black alloys or rims whatever there called and get the double exhaust thing..

But i want it to be plain also... just different from a stock polo.

jessica, check out something called plasti-dip.

basically, its matte black spray paint in a can, and you just need to clean up your wheels and (if you arent confident) have someone spray paint the wheels black- apparently its one can per wheel.

then, if you dont like it after a while, or want a change, you can simply peel the paint off. ive seen pics of the paint in this thread:

the paint looks good and as you might read, it protects your wheels a wee bit too.

that, and you can peel the paint off if you dont like it.

check out the classifieds- i think someone might still be selling their polo gti muffler.

ALWAYS KEEP AN EYE ON THE CLASSIFIEDS!!!! lots of good deals to be had.

              cheers

Hey...The front bar assembly is the same across the Polo range. All you need to do is add the upper center grill, Fog lights and surrounds, and paint the middle part of the front bar black, and you will have the GTI frond bar.

Blitzen - How much do you think all thats gunna cost? Also, Finding it and getting it fitted will be a bit of a problem!

Fitting the grill is really easy just 4 screws at the top and then stick a long flat head screw driver through the front of the grill to release the 4 plastic clips that hold the bottom of the grill in place!

And this may help as well

No go sorry thats for the previous model polo.

VWindahouse old grill would be the best bet.

If you want GTI wheels as well I have a set of four sitting in my garage I want to get rid of.

I think the Pacific has a 4 stud pattern...If that is the case, standard GTI wheels wont go.

EDIT...My mistake, they are 5 stud.
