  • DOES ANYONE HAVE PHOTOS OF A POLO GTI WITH THE 17" GOLF GT WHEELS?

    Comment

    • Not likely as they are probably not made with Polo PCD (Polo is 5 x 100, Golf V is 5 x 112).

      • I see, can you get 17" gti wheels in 5x100?

Unsure, I have never seen any, but the net is your friend...

I meant gti style. I dont care if they're replicas. Does anyone have a photo of gti replica 17" on a polo gti?

                • Here is a start...This is Tempe Tyres in Sydney. I think they are the largest single aftermarket wheel seller in Australia...

don't think anyone has managed to find rep GTI wheels in 17s with the right stud pattern for polos, least not in aus.
Look at american ebay I found a set on there but to get them here was too much.
Or if you know anyone in South Africa you can get them there but the company doesn't ship to aus.

Cup wheels you could probably get a dealer to bring you some in but they will cost an arm and a leg

Things to know wheels with offset of 50 and over and the wrong PCD you can get adaptors for.

you can drill 5x114.3 stud pattern into your existing hubs if need be to run that PCD

I asked the local VW dealer and they said they can get it in but would cost around $600 ish per wheel supply only and excluding tyres or fitment. Ended up getting the 17" VW Exor STP wheels.

                      • They look unreal. Definitely the best wheel combination I've seen on a P.GTi so far. How much did they set you back if you don't mind me asking?

These are an optional wheel for the Polo GTI. When I bought my Polo, the OEM wheels from the dealer were $2100.

                          • On the VW Australia site they are pictured as accessories for the Polo. They are called Exxor STP 17".

                            • OEM VW Wheels will likely cost you in the vicinity of $1500 for 4.

Obviously different wheels are priced differently.

I picked up a Set of Siata's off ebay for less than $550, new from a VW dealer.

Not a lot comes up on ebay that would fit, but worth keeping an eye on...

For a quick phone call, try the VW Woolongong parts manager, he had stock of a few different sets and was keen to part with them.

Did you have a budget in mind?

                              • Call me Bias but this is the best wheel combo on a Pog GTI IMHO
