yeah i think the long life stuff comes in a bottle, but is packaged in a box. supposedly its good for 80,000 kms regardless of engine oil changes. if i give it a try it cant hurt ,......can it?

Be sure to check that whatever you put in won't cause any warranty issues.

I would hate to have that void a warranty claim on a major engine failure since you would get so little gain if any from using the product in the first place. It's risk management for me cos I'm scared of expensive repairs

My mate uses Nulon E20 and E30 on his cars and swears by the stuff. I gave Nulon Performance Engine Treatment(E20) a go, and I really noticed a reduction in cold start noise...This is just me though.

Just that initial 'tappety' noise. Thats the best way I can describe it...

Sure you aren't getting confused with the automatic clutch function when the car runs for the first minute or so? Takes the idle up to over 1000 RPMs so its always going to sound a little noisy. What you've got is probably sticky lifters. A bit of "lifter free" will get rid of that.

                          Noisey cold start

Always a little noisier when starting from cold, the air pump is running to pump air into the exhaust to get the cat up to temperature. Emission control guys. If it sounds tappety it's something else.

"Tappety" is just the best word I could use to describe it...I suggest you guys try it yourselves...I noticed a difference, but thats just me...
