Man, I would look at your clutch...I have had the same issue. I have got my APR Tune done in mid December. I has AWESOME initial acceleration(to me anyway), then I noticed when I would put my foot down I would get the noise and a pause and then a surge of acceleration. It is slowly getting worse and I will need a new clutch in the next couple of months.Originally posted by hkogti View Post
The Polo GTI clutch is weak. The big power gain that you get out of the tune is not good for the clutch. the extra grip afforded by my semi slicks dosn't help with this either....Thats what I would look at.

Didn't really notice any real difference from stock which I guess was the point.
Be careful if you're servicing the car at the dealer's though in case they wonder where you're getting all the extra torque from to burn out the clutch...Comment
