spot on mate! it's only ok if it works to their favour.

the whole point we are trying to get at is bang for your buck.

then someone comes on and says "well you can buy a second hand wrx for $25K and mod that, and it will beat you" we're talking brand new cars here people!

add this to your post jason - you can buy a decent R32 skyline GTR for 25K and mod that (for half the cost)....which will eat the polo, wrx and small children for breakfast.

I had a friendly fang with a Skyline GTR..thingy whatever it was.
Musta been mid late 90's model or so...good nic.
I'm ECU'd with DP and HFC etc..etc..this Skyline he had just flew!!!!

They're right - On a drag strip the polo will get munched, but on the street without box killing launches it's a different story.

I've handed many WRX's their arses. (Even a few STIs)
