That shift of weight onto the rear is good for rear wheel drive cars as it is shifting the weight onto the drive wheels. For us with front wheel drive cars that sort of weight shift causes traction loss as it un-weights your drive wheels. Apart from stiffening things up a lot there's not a lot you can do to stop that sort of weight transfer. Remember if it is too stiff and the car isn't all that driveable ... or I should say "comfortable".

Yeah I guess there is a point where you start sacrificing comfort for performance and you need to find the right balance in between.
