        thanx mate.

APR was done through Derek at European Autotech (9979 4484) they are at Mona Vale ... but the return drive gives you a chance to play I didn't need to book, just turned up and it took <30min. 10% discount on APR atm as well.

Yeah mate that reminds I need to get an act an sort my tax out too! LOL Trouble is that I dont want to be slugged with a tax bill which I have a feeling I may be up for this year. Rudd's xmas cash handout would have gone down well right about now too. Oh well can't have everything i guess.

          • Just picked the car up from Brian @ Quattro...chipped...am ready to head back to the future - god damn!

Does anyone else have the traction control and ABS light constantly on whilst in V2 program? Does this mean my above systems are disengaged whilst in V2 program? Break peddal feel was slightly different...

Ordered engine mount with Brian...fitting in the new year - other than the above, very happy with results - can forsee new tyres in the near future!

i have V2 and this doesn't happen with mine. someone else had something similar to this happen recently. i'll try to find the relevant post but i think it was because the program was not chosen properly. did you do the full correct procedure to change the program:

                - car on 'auxillaries' (the one before the engine start)
                - press negative (-)cruise control button in til the engine light starts to double flash
                - let go of button
                - turn car off
                - pull key out
                - wait 10 seconds
                - key back in
                - start her up!

if you did all this and the lights are still coming up, give Guy a PM and he'll probably be able to sort it out.

here, this is the link to the other thread - http://www.vwwatercooled.org.au/newf...ad.php?t=23714

                • No I didn't have this issue on mine. All I can suggest is make sure you leave 10 secs in between each procedure. Also I dont think you need to take the key out at any stage. I cant remember been shown that part. Infact I think I think I have already forgotton how to do it! lol
