Don't log it just driving around. Do a run from 1500 to redline/over 5000 revs in 3rd with wide open throttle.

If you do the run with a passenger, they can start the log as you get to 1500 and then you don't have loads of unwanted data.

Put some headers on your columns so its not so cryptic.

I found that pulling too much data at any 1 time reduces the sample rate too much (varies more than you'd want already). Might be worth focusing on 5 or 10, obviously going to want to hang onto RPM and reference blocks. Worth looking at boost (req / actual), timing pull, N75 cycle and the timestamp to make graphing easier if you want to visualise it.

So, I haven't posted for a while... My car too has started surging in 3rd gear. I mostly notice it on particularly cold mornings here in Canberra at WOT. My car is a bit older though, and it could be a hose or pipe related issue.
In terms of mods to the intake I have a K&N panel filter, SEAT intake, Forge TIP and N75J valve. I also have a boost guage fitted and don't notice a drop in boost when it is surging.
