If your out there, is there any chance you can speculate on behalf of APR as to the "chippability" of such an engine this new Polo Gti will carry.
1.4 turbo/super charged.
What sort of gains might we be able to expect....

as far as i know Guy is currently working on a chip for the 1.4 TFSI engine in the Golf V GT. I'm sure this is the same engine that will be used for the Polo so as soon as he's done the tests i'm sure we'll see the graphs etc.
Wow it looks awesome in those new pics. At least another 18mths or so before Oz will see it.
7sec 0-100 with VWs very moddist performance figures suggests it will probably be very quick indeed.
How much do you reckon it will sell in Oz? Do you think they can keep it under $30K
They'll have to keep it under 30k as it is the cars main attraction as a budget performance hatch... That way it is also slight premium to the Suzuki / Ford / Mitsu offerings thus a premium image will still be portrayed...
Anything over 30k will put it too close to the XR5 / MPS and MkVI GTI
