Hello everyone, my name is Jack ****son and I’ve owned my 2008 polo gti 9n3 for nearly a year. I’ve done some work to it and I snapped a rusty bolt from my oil pick up line, does anyone know how to get one quickly and as cheap as possible without going to a dealership? The engine code is bjx.

Like the oil pickup tube in the sump?

it was that bolt I snapped, the tube is fine but the snapped bolt in the oil pan broke and when if finally came out the thread on the inside of the pan was ruined and I couldn’t re tap it.Originally posted by MIG View Post

If the damaged bolt hole still looks ok, have it fitted with a helicoil or similar.Comment

Try Tooleys in NSW if you havent already. I get sumps off them all the time.Comment
