I agree too - didn't notice much difference at all. I wouldn't take it off though (until I swap out the airbox completely), as it sounds good in theory - larger tube, more air, esp on a chipped car.

yeah i'll have to give it a go because as i said, thats the reason i haven't got one. its the silly season at the moment so i won't be buying ANYTHING for my car prob until the new year. i still haven't even got the engine mount inserts ...i'm such a procrastinator.

EDIT: i lie, i bought $100 worth of car cleaning products (now my bonnet swirls are worse) and most importantly......a silver gumby sticker for my rear drivers side window

i got one for my Chipped TDI Polo and it smoothed out the power delivery something chronic, no noticable power gains however but definately smoother

reviving an old thread - where can I get a seat intake from? I know dubaddiction doesn't stock them anymore and haven't seen them for a while. If someone could point me in the right direction I'd greatly appreciate it

I can still source them but it would need to be a group buy though as these buggers keep increasing their prices at SEAT. There was another person who wanted one a while back so who ever it was, if you're still interested or anyone else, just give me a buzz.

Someone was recently looking at making a custom version.

Its not cheap, but if you are going to Chip it, makes a big difference.

Playing with cars is not cheap and with Euro's a lot of what you pay is transport related.
