They probably do know about it but if the car has been modified in anyway they'll do their best to turn you down on a warranty claim.Originally posted by FL00DY View PostI would say you'll be fine, they must surely know if it's a known problem.
Jason,
I reckon you're pushing poo up hill in getting it replaced under warranty with the FMIC on.

Mmmm....., how quick can you swap all that stuff you've got fitted out for stock is actually the question you need to be asking .....
I reckon I can have all back to stock excluding the chip and engine mount within 3 hours ....... only problem will be the mounts for the FMIC which will confuse them a bit ....
(and you can set the chip back to std anyway)
Brakes and exhaust should not be a problem for a warranty claim anyway.Current: 2023 MY23 T-Roc R Lapiz Blue + Beats Audio + Black pack 2018 MY19 Golf R manual Lapiz Blue + DAP) 2014 Amarok TSI Red (tuned over 200kw + lots of extras) 2013 Up! manual Red 2017 Polo GTI manual Black Previous VWs and some others ...

Jas mate i just looked at one that had a coolant leak and it was the fibre washer on the Fan switch on the Radiator. The dealer will fix that under warranty. If it is it will be around the front left area and is fairly common, ive done a couple now

Yeah Jas , what goes wrong is either if you or they (Dub) are lucky its sometimes just the fibre sealing washer for the fan switch, but in some cases it splits round there too so a new washer wont fix her.
Good score mate gotta be happy with that
Too easy
