why would you want audi centre caps on a wheel thats on a vw - that looks totally retarded IMHO - it just does not make sense - its like your girlfriend wearing lipstick on her forehead ..... it's just out of place

its the same as putting a merc 3 pointed star hood ornament on a BMW M3 ..... despite the fact that in this case vw and audi are both part of the VAG group but they have a distinct identity - so IMHO if you wish to be a dubber you would wish to preserve the identity

change the rims by all means - but dont leave audi centre caps on or fiat or bee-em or even ferrari or lambo - its just tasteless - all logos on the car should be showing the cars heritage - whereas a wheel is just a cosmetic thing

yeah i've noticed that from US photos and also the worthorsee photos in Europe. they prefer wheels from other manufacturers and leave the centre caps on.

its sort of degrading to VW's really, it's basically saying that your wheels are sh*t so you'll just brand-bash and use the OEM wheels off a better car that you can't afford.

With 22000kms on it i'd expect it to be more around $24k even with the mods.

Yeh, but a new one on-road is <$30k right? so $26k for an '08, its not bad especially with the mods done to it.

22,000ks is a hell of a lot of k's for an '08 model car.

in todays market conditions dealers are doing it tough. people shouldn't be paying more than $27,500 for a brand spanker on road.

VW had a deal not that long ago of $26,990 drive away, if they could afford to do that, that should be the target purchase price.

i would say that car will prob sell for ~$24K as is.
