Not sure, I might email back and ask. I suppose the standard shocks will wear out much quicker with the H&R springs?

Does anyone know roughly how much it would cost to get these springs installed?

And Sid, your GTI is HOT!

"Pricing starts at AUD$120 inc GST for four tyres of the same colour up to 15mm (0.6")"

The price and the pic below put me off getting it done unless I can find someone tha does like 5mm

H & R springs give a 35mm drop, they can be bought for about $290. (See my previous post).

Sid - did you change the shocks as well?

Shocks are next on my wish list. Did someone mention in a previous post that they had H & R springs and it didn't wear out the standard shocks too much?

                          oh sorry didnt see that

thats cheap i thought lowering would cost much more...how much would it cost for someone to install them?

does anyone know if this would affect warranty or insurance?

                          thanks!

Just regurgitating what i've been told a few times here for warranty but I think it goes,

Unless its the direct cause of the fault you are covered, safest bet it to ask you stealer to make sure.

With the H&R's its still legal height so you don't have any insurance issues thats what just cars told me.
