Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

1990 Alfa Romeo 33 8V (yes I was bitten by the bug)

1990 Alfa Romeo 33 16V (HEAPS better than the 8V..and corners like a MOFO)

2008 POLO GTI (could go better around corners .. but at least everything works and I hope it stays that way for a long time)
Front and rear swaybars will fix that.

I'd do suspension before the bars if you're after handling.

ohh what lists of cars everyone has owned..

Mine is short and sweet - no where near as extensive as some of you guys..

First car was a crappy 1997 hyundai excel that had no power steering, crappy a/c and no stereo with green reverse lights LOLL damn hand me downs, but i did love this car with all its problems and quirks

Second car was a tank 1993 Toyota lexcen - had plenty of grunt but guzzled petrol like crazy which sucked cos i had it on my P's (poor uni student)

Third was my 2002 Holden Barina - my first car that was mine.. had it for a little over 2 years. Again loved it to bits but was time for an upgrade

Present car is my pogo. I love my car

Thats actually pretty freaky that you have mirrored the same cars I have had in the same order(just replace Lexan with Commodore)!!
