Nice. If you're interested in a H&R front sway bar I have a brand new one here that's available.

Oooooooh - I like it. A bit lower than mine too.

I'll have to add that to my growing list of projects

How much you after for the lowering springs?

I haven't even looked at the front yet, just going to focus on the rear and the lower control arm stuff for now.....

*he says as he Googles videos on front seat bar installation and parts pricing [emoji23]*

Don't bother with the front bar unless you're doing a complete upgrade. Even than, personally wouldn't suggest doing it. My car has had the front sway bar replaced/upsized, but frankly if it wasn't such a PITA of a job, I'd swap back to stock. Now that this car is not being used for daily duties, I might just do that at some point.

To get the most from the upsized front bar means doing custom rear springs to increase the rear spring rate. Even with rear bar set to hard, some more rotation would be beneficial on track. For street driving, absolutely not worth it IMO. Doing the front bar also limits front wheel travel, which also isn't ideal. I've had more fun driving (and perceived levels of grip) with the front bar disconnected.

I think that's what I love about forums like this. Finding out this type of info can often be trial and error. I'm glad that someone else has already trialled and deemed it an error so I don't have to [emoji16][emoji16]

the front is actually not lower than standard - it's 100% stock but I have taller profile tyres so less guard clearance. The back is lower than standard but I have no idea how much, they're cut down springs from the front of a Honda

Mine was easy to install. I just paid the mechanic to do it while they fitted the Eibach springs and B8 Bilstein's.
I have the H&R front and rear sway bar kit fitted and with that spring/shock combo, the handling is batsh*t crazy.

All up with including fitting a front LCA poly bush I paid a bit under $600 labour for the whole job.

I hate paying labour for things I can do myself, but that's actually quite reasonable for the amount of work they did...

I don't get my ambitions mixed up with my ability .

Plus living in a unit with no garage or tools doesn't help. I just drop the car off, use their loan car all day and pick it up after work with the new bits in it.

Paying 600 bucks in labour for all that is very cheap. lucky to have found that. Yeah I just put the front bar back to stock and agree that a front bar for a street car is unecessary especially considering the extent to which it hurts ride quality. Different story compared to a rear bar though which is an absolute must do/step 1/ starting point.

                                Very cheap indeed.

Does anyone have any suggestions where to buy the following?
                                TIP
                                Downpipe/exhaust (in Brisbane)
                                Intercooler and piping
                                Stage 1 tune

I've had a look through the forum and unfortunately, everything looks like it is super dated and potentially no longer applicable
