    last time I took it out, I just pressed my thumbs against the side closest to the windscreen (there's a bit of a lip along the top edge to give you better grip) with my figers resting on the dash between the front edge and the glass, pushed with my thumb, lift and voila.

    Maybe on some cars they're harder to take out.

      just a question, HOW do you take out the cubby dash??? Im not talking about the stock one. I'm trying to pull it out so i can put my gps antenna.

      I tried pressing the sides but no luck, there's no proper grip wer i can just pry the sides, any ideas??
