It does take a bit of strength I must say.

I dug my thumbs into the back with my fingers on the dash and forced it forwards an up.

Let it cool down...Bah, why bother...Once you burn the nerves out of your fingers, life gets so much easier!! Why do you think bakers and exhaust fitters have such a high work turn over...No feeling in there fingers!!!

Hahahahaha...Just joking, You value your fingers more once you have lost one and had it sewn back on again...I'll try and find the photos if you like??

yeah, there will be a law against it soon to sit along side no talking on mobile phones while driving...watch it, they will get you on camera.

campaign will read something like - "installing cubby boxes and driving, you're a bloody idiot"

The next installation will be the Gloss B Pillars I'm not sure I can do them while on the move though.

hey, how flush do all your new cubby fit? I just installed mine but it seems to not be very flat around the edges? Maybe I didn't fit it properly. Will post photos later.

Hahaha, this would be difficult lol.

I installed mine in the dark, that was hard enough to get the right angles for screwing/unscrewing and fitting it in.

Yeah mine isnt 100% flat - just dips ever so slightly at the front and front right side and lessening to the rear right - but i'm talking probably 3/4's of a millimetre so I'm not throwing myself off the Gateway Bridge over it.

ok... i got it today, but having probs installing it.

my fingernails so ouchy at the moment. is there a proper technique of taking the stock cubby dash out? I tried lifting the front right corner... i think im abit too weak lol.

found it! none of you guys said about using a flathead screwdriver!

finally Rob told me the proper way of doing it.

                                DIY:
#1 get a flat head screwdriver (small/medium size)
#2 wrap the screwdriver with a cloth (that way you won't damage the panel)
#3 pry the side (closest to the windscreen) work your way from left to right (or vice versa) till it pops out
