Well there you go....
Mate in Sydney with a 90TSI GOLF was trying to fault find a rattle at 4200rpm. In his garage, tried to replicate but in neutral, max RPM allowed was only 3750rpm.
Same goes for my MY16 GTI. Funny feeling with pedal fully depressed but only reaches same RPM.
