Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

    Hey Guys,

called Volkswagen they didn't seem to concerned and aren't seeing me till next Thursday .

im not going to drive it till volks sees it.

just wanted to know if anyone has experienced this before?

    Thanks.

    Describe jitters.

Just keep driving it .. if it breaks, they will give you a new gearbox since it's brand new.

pulls stops pulls stops pulls always that type of pattern.

but in sports or driving in high RPM range no issue at all just in stop start traffic i notice it badly.

jeez that's harder than what i thought to describe that.

If it feels like the clutch isn't grabbing it probably means its slipping. If that's the case then it sounds like you might be requiring new a new clutch pack.

There have been a bunch of people with the previous gen Polo (probably newer 6C's aswell just unheard of as of yet cause theyre so new) that have had their clutch's replaced due to the wonderful shift points VW program into the gearbox.

Probably clutch slip which is common with that gearbox.

Do they do it under warranty or do they say it's normal wear and tear?

update - took it into VW Five dock looked at it and couldn't reproduce the problem YAY my luck! took one of the lead techs out happened twice.

they have taken it for the next two days to see what going on - Lead Tech said it seems to be miss firing but petrol and everything else has come back with no fault.

will update once they have something!
