2013 Polo GTI MY13.5 - Front Rotor Size

Hey guys,

can anyone confirm that the MY13.5 GTI runs 312mm size front rotors? From memory someone mentioned that they increased from 288 to 312mm from 2013 onwards?

yes MY13.5 have the larger front rotors.

Do both rotor sizes use the same pad type?

yes MY13.5 have the larger front rotors.

Yep, pads are identical. I should add that the carrier for the caliper is also different to allow for the caliper to sit further out from the hub.
It can be easily swapped with no tools once caliper is unbolted from the hub.
