Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

    Polo GTI folding mirrors

    Hi all,

    Just picked up my new Polo GTI with Luxury and DAP today and absolutely love it! Had a question about the mirrors though which i hope someone can help answer. Does the Australian version of the GTI have electric folding mirrors? The manual says it does but cannot seem to find the function in the car.

    No it does not, the manual covers a whole host of models and unfortunately it's up to the user to know which features they do and do not have. Auto door locking for example that even my dealer felt it had, it doesn't.
