Gearbox Mount

Morning,

I recently visited Volkswagen regarding a hmming and occasional clunk and discovered I require I new gearbox mount. After browsing the internet I discovered I can purchase a upgraded version from Vibra-Technics.

Was just wondering if anyone had upgraded their gearbox mount, and/or are their any consequences of upgrading (i.e. should I just stick with OEM)?

Also if anyone knows where I could source a Vibra-Technics mount from in AUS that would be great since the dollar is terrible.

My mate bought a Golf with upgraded mounts. Initially he could bare the extra noise/vibrations but after half a year the wore thin. He ended up going back to standard while he had his VW in for service. Brad at Platinum Automotive Care said the mounts were solid and that they should flex. I'm not sure what brands they were or know how solid the Libra Technics would be but i'm guessing there will be extra harshness even though they state otherwise.
