YellowLemon it is new and was already on its way. Had to phone every dealer in Perth to see who had what in stock or on the way. My preference was blue, manual, DA package only. I know that Gti's with this combo were going for for $35k in Perth due to demand, so happy to pick up a white one with lux pack for the same price.

Except in the $33K they sell it for there there's $3K of GST, so that really means $30K net. They will most likely have to do a full detail inside and out, bring any service items up to date, provide something for warranty, pay floor plan on it if they have it over month end and pay commission to whoever sells it. Bottom line probably around $1500 profit for the dealer ie; 5% or so margin.

Some would argue that what they get for their trade in directly affects what they are actually paying (net) for their new Polo Gti. Which is after all the title of the thread.
