Polo GTi CAVE engine cover removal.

This might be a silly question
But how do u remove the plastic engine cover?
Is it screwed in or clipped in?
Just want to have a look under it as i suspect an oil leak from the engine.

give it a big pull. itll come off. its held on by about 3 or 4 clips.

Pull it upwards slightly untill it pulls away from the rubber grommets, then pull it towards you as there is a 'prong' design that sits into another rubber grommet, if that makes sense.... I have made a crappy circle to show you:
