  • Polo brake pads - ATE, Lucas? What do I have?

Hey guys. Just bought a 2011 polo 77TSI and changing a few worn parts to get a road worthy, looking to get some Bendix brake pads however Supercheap want to know if I have ATE or Lucas calipers. However my calipers say FS-III on them. Is this the type of caliper I have or is this just something VW marked seperately? Picture for referrence. Many thanks in advance!

Bendix has a pretty good parts finder with line drawings showing the pad shapes. ATE has an even better parts finder.

Unless the pads are metal-metal the pad thickness isn't a part of a roadworthy (bizarre as it sounds) - at least not when I was doing them. The brakes either work as per the brake machine readings or not.

Suggest you get your brake parts from Brakes Direct.
