Can i ask who did this for you? Do they just replace the pipe with a straight stainless pipe?

I have the manual 16 as well, just wondering if it drones or is louder inside the car?

I'm tempted! but don't want to void the warranty.

Just purchased one, the reverse was added for free with the app connect. Maybe its a deal they had on for 2016.

Picked up my MY16 today. It was meant to be Monday but there was a delay, so they tided us over with a loaner base Polo until it came in.

Can't say I had the best experience at the dealership. I was there for almost three hours due mainly to a dispute over finance. I found out that the application fees associated with the loan were more than twice what was specified to me. 20 minutes and several angry exchanges later, the fees magically dropped by about $700.. They were also very pushy with the various insurance and warranty options, even after I made it clear I wasn't interested.

The ordeal isn't over yet either. I still have to sort out the voice control button.

Just wondering if you sorted out the voice control button? I have the same issue, i think its an option you have to purchase.

Voice control is not a freebie in Australia.

FWIW, it's crap anyway. Siri works way better in carplay.

It would only void the warranty on the exhaust system.

Any exhaust shop can do it

No droning can definitely here is better in the car and they replace mine with 2 and a quarter pipe as the factory is a funny size like 2 and an 8th or something they said

Hey guys, I put a deposit down on a manual white Polo GTI with luxury package on Sat. This will be my first ever VW and I'm super excited about getting it in May.

I just wanted to know if anyone regrets optioning the luxury package on the car? I optioned it in without seeing it in person as I wanted the sunroof, but I'm just wondering about the headlights and the alcantara seats. The seats look less bolstered than the standard tartan ones and the headlights I can't find much information on. I'm just wondering how people are finding their luxury package experience?

You will love it i bought mine off the showroom floor as i couldn't afford to wait 3 months with no car. It's a shame they don't bring in these cars WITH the factory upgrades.

I haven't got the luxury pack but the headlights are led with h.i.d lights instead of the standard halogen bulbs. They also have the water jets required for the lights to. Seats are mostly alcantara which feels like suede really but its got leather down the sides of the seats. I sat in both, not a huge difference though. I think its personal preference really with luxury pack.

Didn't know that. I don't like the way It throws light in the headlight itself anyway. Still personal preference I guess.

It's a reflector housing setup isn't it? Not projector lens like the 6R's xenons.

Got a CPI stage 1 tune today, only been for a short drive but big difference on the butt dyno already. For anyone in QLD, Redline Tuning are having a 25% off sale and it's much cheaper than APR.

No numbers posted as yet, I believe mine is the first to be done in Australia. Numbers don't bother me anyway, they're not the be-all and end-all. Power delivery is much more important than peak power. I would like to get it on a dyno at some point though.
