Hi, I have a 6R (2010) GTI until my arthritis in neck got worse I could handle the "jarring" stock suspension . I am looking to make it a more comfortable less jarring ride is this possible on the GTI, I dont mind lowering it a BIT and happy with handling as is, just need it to be less jarring. I live in Northern Rivers NSW so roads are pretty crappy but hope to move to Sunshine coast in about a year where the roads are a bit better . My other thoughts were to wait till 2015 and see if the next model has adaptive suspension which i am not sure of (if adaptive suspension makes it softer I am also not sure?)that`s if I can afford the next model. Any help appreciated thanks

Maybe have a look at Koni FSD dampers. The seem to have a very large difference between the low and high speed compression damping which should make the car less jarring without compromising performance.
I have seen a few posts where people have found them to be great for road use and not quite so brilliant on the track (which isn't a concern for the vast majority of people).Resident grumpy old fart
