softer ride

Hi, I have a 6R (2010) GTI until my arthritis in neck got worse I could handle the "jarring" stock suspension . I am looking to make it a more comfortable less jarring ride is this possible on the GTI, I dont mind lowering it a BIT and happy with handling as is, just need it to be less jarring....
