  • Airbag light on

    Hey Guys,

I have had my polo tsi for a few months now and yesterday my airbag light came on.

I have called vw dealer about the issue but i need to book an appointment for them to see it.
Just asking if anyone has had this same problem before and if so could they help me?

    Thanks.

The light is the symptom, not the problem

Could be caused by any number of possible airbag related faults.

Fair enough, I just will book it in and have it checked

      Thanks mate.

If you want mate you can meet me somewhere and I can check with VCDS to see what's the fault. It could be something trivial. Could save you some $ if VW is going to charge for diagnostics.

Sorry for the late reply guys, I have been away, thanks for your help.
But I have taken it back to Volkswagen in my area and they are the process of still fixing it.
I haven't had to pay anything as my car is still under warranty
