    In order to remove the front struts (lower spring fitment) the wheel speed sensor needs to be seperated from the wheel hub. This is so that the suspension arm can be lowered further in order to gain enough clearance to remove the strut.

    Has anyone uncoupled this sensor connection? What do you press/turn/pull to seperate the sensor itself from the connecting wire? Or have people removed the whole sensor (by unbolting it from the wheel hub) and not seperated it from the connecting wire? The sensor appears to have just one bolt holding it in the wheel hub and I assume you just undo it and pull the sensor up and out?

    pulling the sensor is not usually that easy as the are jammed in there tight..disconnect the sensor...either push the tab down with your finger to release it or if you find that too hard carefully put a flat blade screwdriver in the tab hole and slowly twist it sideways until it unclicks....very hard to explain without showing you...VDUB...

      Thank you VDUB.

      It looks like the connector has a metal tab with a small slot in the tab. As you say, the slot is propobly designed for a small screwdriver to pull the tab out (partially) at right angle to connector body. Not sure if the tab needs to be pressed down at the same time?
