Hey all I am looking at the skoda fabia vrs have been told same as the polo has anyone had problems with their cars I would be looking at the 1.4tsi 132kw. Would like to know problems and if was fixed also mods if anyone done cheers.

Isn't there a forum on here for the Fabia?
The drivetrain is the same as the 6R GTI. The actual chassis/platform is more like the previous 9N2 Polo GTI. -

I directed the OP here becasue the Fabia section of the forum is verrry quiet and he wasn't getting any answers to his questions. You should keep an eye on the oil consumption on these engines. There hasn't been any conclusive evidence on fixes but it seems running them in hard from the beginning and also not babying them afterwards (i.e. don't drive in low revs with high gear all the time) seems to help.Originally posted by passat08 View Post
