Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • Jetex dump pipes and catbacks for Polo GTI and Fabia vRS - anyone using them?

Haven't seen any discussion amongst you guys on this - and thought it might be nice to see something other than "Polo Problems register" or "Polo high oil discussion" threads at the top of your forum area for once.

I just came across this product from UK brand Jetex while looking for something else - are there any Polo GTI / Fabia vRS owners on here using these downpipes and catbacks?

Polo GTI page with info & pics: Downpipe and race cat for a VW Polo 1.4 TSI 2010+

Fabia vRS page with info and pics: Downpipe and race cat for a Skoda Fabia II 1.4 TSI 2010+

I know some of the MK6 Golf 118TSI owners have been searching for a while to find a down pipe option with no luck. Im unsure whether these Polo/Fabia options would suit them?

Might be considered picky but Jetex are Swedish Good exhausts though, had a few in my time.

Yep big thumbs up from me for Jetex. Have had one of their systems on my MK3 VR6 for many years.

My bad - every website i found that stocked them were UK based websites so i made the assumption that they were English. Even on their dealer network there is no mention of a Swedish reseller or head office etc. Weird?

Good to hear that they are a nice product with good reputation. I don't have a Polo or Fabia so im not interested personally, but thought id share incase any of the Polo GTI/Fabia vRS crew were.

I must say the ONLY thing i don't like about their design is the "slip on" fit from one piece to another. I much prefer a bolted flange or v band etc.
