Haha lol that would be interesting to see - Dry clutch with launch control, don't think it's going to last long.
That's one thing VW got right, these dry clutch DSG's just are not built to do that kind of stuff and should be left to the wet clutch variants. I'm not saying dry clutch doesn't work but really only good for low torque applications. <200nm unless they fix the clutch material up...a lot!
Makes me wonder how there gearboxes would go in a normal NA engine? Could be less problems caused by heat as most VW engines produce max torque just over 1000rpm where a toyota for example will make it at 4500rpm. it won't be frying the clutch down low, and max torque will be delivered once the clutch is allready fully engaged.
