What would your next car be after the Polo GTI?

Gotta say im a fan of the wheels on these and the exhaust tip is interesting, nice pickup mate.

I think i'll be holding off a new purchase now until there's confirmation that the new Polo R/Audi S1 is a goer for Aus. If not it'll be back to either the Mk7 Golf R or 8v S3.

The torque vectoring is...phenominal it acts like a rear powered car in corners, I never knew Ford could ever design / build such a car!

Independent rear suspension is also a plus as it gives it a more "loose" rear end in corners which I feel to some extent fights front understeer.

I want the new vRS when it gets released, I presume since I've wanted a Skoda for so many years I'll keep it for its whole lease period rather then with my current Polo GTI , want to get rid of it at the end of its 3rd, before the warranty goes though I'll still have 2 years left ...

I'll be also getting the vRS when its out. Its been a long wait since my Polo was written off, but I think it'll be worth it to have something that will still be current in 3-5 years

It's similar to the Flash red seen on the Polo albeit a little darker in direct sunlight where the Flash Red Polo tends to go slightly fluro like in direct sunlight.

There is only Red and then there is Tangerine Scream which is a yellow / gold colour that I'm thinking you're referring to?

Yeah, I got confused with the molten orange on Fiesta ST, sort of a dark orange metallic.

It's not EXACTLY the same... Sure doesn't look the same.

Maybe that fancy bodywork weighs it down?

Whats the weight of the RS vs the GTI? That may be the answer.

New toy (208 )... during 1800 km run in trip. As you can see by the other cars on the trip the run in was thorough

Its actually based on the Polos 9N3 chassis not the 6R's and its a bit bigger, so yeah its heavier.
