Let me see and ill get back to you. The R8 ones are more expensive though i believe (in particular the coolant cap for some reason).

Just getting back to you on the R8 caps - the supplier can source these and the cost price (not including shipping) works out to be about $100 for the R8 coolant cap about $60 for the R8 oil cap. You can get the R8 oil cap from Bold Sport for a few dollars cheaper.

The R8 coolant cap will end up being approx $115 including the international shipping to me and then local delivery to you. Do you want it that bad to pay that much?

Im trying to organise a group buy on another forum for these oil and coolant caps, and i thought i would share the info here too incase any Polo owners were interested. These caps are a direct replacement for your original plastic caps - no modifications necessary.

As a different and much cheaper alternative to the Audi R8 oil and coolant caps (and cheaper again than JCaps and Forge caps) the Porsche oil and coolant caps also fit VAG engines and are a definite improvement over the stock black/blue plastic items.

These will fit:
- Passat R36
- Golf R32 (Mk4 and Mk5)
- Golf GTI (MK4, Mk5 and Mk6)
- Golf R
- Polo GTI / TSI / TDI etc (both 9N and 6R)
- Bora, Passat & Tiguan etc
- Skoda vRS Octy
- Audi's

I can get these at about 1/2 the price of the equivalent Audi R8 items. (normally the R8 items are about $80-90 EACH delivered)

Just seeing if there is any interest in the Porsche oil and coolant caps here. If i can get interest (and deposits) for 10x or more then i will be able to sell them locally to you for about $45-50 each (or $90-100 for both if you want both) including local delivery from me to you. The more you all want, the cheaper they will be.

If i can get interest and deposits then delivery would be around mid-late April.

Just updating the Polo crew on this. I have received a small order of these caps to check fitment on a range of VAG cars before committing to the whole group buy amount.

Good news is that i checked fitment on a 1.4 twincharge engine yesterday (a brand new Skoda Fabia vRS) and they fit perfectly.

The guy charged me $30 AUD including delivery to Australia. Its not cheap, but it looks alot better than the blue cap.

Pic of the caps fitted to BLN355's Polo GTI. Looks like i might have 1 or 2 sets of these left over so if anyone is interested let me know.
