  • how to jack up the front and rear of the car

hey guys, pretty noob question but

so im looking to jack up both rear wheels and both front wheels.
where underneath the car should i place the jack or do i have to do each corner at a time

and yes i will use axle stands and im buying a hydraulic jack

manual just says to use the jack points on each corner

Jack the front of the car up first using the jack points which are pretty much where your front guards end and your doors start.

Once the front is up and safely resting on some axle stands, then raise the rear.

The front you can use the subframe crossmember, this will lift the front evenly so you can get your stands under the liftin points. The rear unfortunately requires you to lift each side separately.

Will using the jack points on these with a hydraulic jack result in folding over the crimping of the unibody? I've seen lots of (japanese) cars where this has happened.

On the rear, I've gone under the spring perches with a hydraulic jack, but, one side at a time....
