Good call on the 'cooler. I've noticed a lot lately the power suffering in the heat we've had, really need to hook up my cooler. $2000 would get you close to both a tune and cooler.

For a totally non-mechanical minded person like myself, who is brand spanking new to the world of modifications, can someone explain what TBE is? It's embarrassing to ask but I'd rather find out now then pretend to understand what people are referring to in the future ahaha

Also, I've mentioned that I would be up for the group buy on the tune+CAI through Viezu, I'm assuming they do cooler upgrades too, would it be worth doing all this together? And then I've noticed a few of you mention DSG tunes? What's that involve/cost exactly and is that an essential component if doing the tune?

Thanks in advance for the info and teaching this n00b a thing or two

TBE = turbo back exhaust, which means the whole exhaust system.

I'm not sure if Viezu have intercooler yet (i dont think so at least) but APR do.

As for the DSG tune, its around 1000.

If I were you, I'd drive the car for a bit first, get used to it (know it) and find any problems before you start jumping into mods. When everythings "settled" then start thinking about mods. But that's just me

Ahhh well it looks verrrrry likely that the England trip is happening now! So that $2k has to go towards that. But I think I'm sold on a Viezu tune + carbon CAI when I get a little money together after the trip. Just gotta drive Dan's car when he gets it done to know for sure! Have just been noticing lately that it feels like it lacks a little power! I must be getting very used to it because when I first got it I thought this is all the power you'd ever need

                Thanks for the response mate!

I think after a month or two of driving, I'll be more than ready to jump on the Tune + CAI and perhaps look at Exhaust/cooler down the track and then DSG tune even further down the track... One step at a time though huh? haha

I've had mine for a few months and it still scares the crap out of me sometimes! The acceleration in 4th gear is what does it, from cruising to scary-fast is just an ankle flex away

Yeah im surprised how well it pulls up top. Dusted a Mitsu Evo yesterday, caught him napping and by the time he reacted the little pog was gone in a blaze of front wheel tyre smoke haha

                    Any news on the LSD?

                      ^^^^yeah looking forward to it.

Why would you need LSD? I would've thought the acceleration would be enough of a drug
