Those Advans are stupidly good in the corners (but total crap for any other driving) but it actually made the cruise a bit boring for me, since the car was just railing most of the turnsOriginally posted by GTI JOE View Post

It's a LOT of fun sliding the fuel savers through the turns but I found a few torn/missing tread blocks when I was putting them back on. The damage must have been done on a couple of the monthly cruises when I was chasing down/dropping off the Golf GTi's and R's - Polos rock on the Reefton (maybe not on the wet one since the tyres were sliding quite easily)
Since I have my OE rims and tyres, I might as well get use out of them for cruises (love having 3 sets of tyres/rims
