Also, for those who want to hear my car with the resonator deleted, might want to do that sooner rather than later

Won't it be filthy by the time you're finished though? (Mine was last time)

Hmmm, have heard quite a few not-so-nice stories from locals in towns about that group.....Originally posted by bbui View PostI'm in; assuming this isn't going ahead:

I find being at the front nets a dirtier vehicle, at the rear, most of the muck is already flicked away, depending on volume of cars. The first run I did in my polo after getting it, the sills were about 50mm bigger from all the bark and leaf litter crap!

Did the Great Alpine Road once, some good bits between Bright and Hotham Heights but then got a bit more hum drum after that, and then by the time I got the Bairnsdale and realised I had another 3hrs to go I was getting a bit agitated, lol. Glad I did it, but just wasn't quite as magical as I thought it would be - think you have to take some of the other roads nearby off the main route.
Would recommended you top up with petrol in Mansfield if that's the route your taking, I didn't and then had to do a bit of an economy run towards from Omeo to Bairnsdale iirc through that last twisty bit, fuel level dropped very quickly at altitude.
Approaching Hotham Heihgts (can't remember if I sped this video up a bit to fit 15min limit):
Handballs thread back to gavs
