DO you ever get hassled by cops for the tinted DRL's?

Was driving through an RBT in Darwin and had a ****head 16 y.o cop tell me off that he could 'fine me for my foglights' - despite them being DRL's.

That sucks. Cops don't even blink an eye on my direction. As far as I know the only colour you're allowed to tint your fog lights are yellow. But I stand to be corrected. Perhaps that was his issue? Or just a cranky cop
