You should definitely have a VIN if it's on the boat and it's due here in a couple of weeks. I'd be asking that question or someone could be telling you porkies!Polo GTI - 5 door - Candy White, Xenons, Comfort Package, Audio Upgrade, Bluetooth, Parking Sensors and Tint

So with turbo only engine can we expect to see significant turbo lag? I love that there's almost no lag in the twincharge engine. The only lag comes from the DSG deciding what it wants to do

FWIW, I've purchased a MY13 car today, that just happened to be sitting in Auckland unsold. It's an Oryx White 5-door with bi-xenons, built 13 Dec, so I'm guessing it's not been in the country long. It's got the CTHE engine (all cars built since September have this new engine I believe). I'm surprised Volkswagen NZ would be spec buying a car with a $1500 special paint option, but it's a bonus for me, that's for sure. Paid NZ$38,000 drive away with a 3 year service plan included. List for a car of this spec is NZ $43,840, so I'm happy with the 13% discount. I pick up the car in Christchurch in 2 weeks.

Congrats on the purchase! I reckon you made the right choice, but then again I'm biased.Originally posted by scobb View PostFWIW, I've purchased a MY13 car today, that just happened to be sitting in Auckland unsold.
