I would have loved to come on a cruise but can't make it on that day. If you are meeting up early in the day, I'd like to come and check out your Polos and say g'day before you head off, if that's ok?

Yeah, no worries apples but with only 1 definate (me) and 2 maybe's, I don't like the chances of this going ahead.

Kinda defeats the point though, I mean, I know why I bought the car I did and thats to drive it where it's meant to be driven, winding mountain roads. There is many more commitments from the guys on Vdub Club so I think this is now a non event for the watercooled community, dissapointing really. No more cruise organising from me melbournians, someone else can organise it from now on.

Even living in Sydney, I'd find a mate and roadtrip south of the border for a Polo cruise. Only problem is I don't have my GTI yet damnit!

In fact, I'll be driving down to Melbourne on the 3rd to attend the VW Driving Experience at Phillip Island on the Tuesday. I would love to run into you guys, but I think it might be too difficult to pick an exact time/location to find you all given the long distance.

I'm sure as more 6R's finally land in the country, the interest and attendance will increase. As for a Sydney meet, I'm up for it... In February

Could do a Feb Summer cruise, BBQ, fun at the beach followed by a cruise back to the city (plenty of beaches in Sydney!)
