I know coz I had them in my R33 skyline and hated it...never again. Where I drive to the folks in northern country Vic the roads are crap.

The H&R springs will affect the ride very little and lower the car just enough for my needs.
Bit late with this - but I daily KW V1's up in the northern country (well Northeast to be precise)...and it feels no different to stock :/

LOL...you certainly dug up that old post...I've now got H&R monotubes waiting to go on the car.

Furthermore...if anyone wants to save some time and money...I'll be selling my H&R 25/40 springs as soon as the coilovers go on.

I too have been doing some digging, what is your reason from switching? and how much for springs and shocks?

How do you guys go with dealer warranty after fitting coilovers, does it become an issue?

Switching because I want the car more level...rear end still a little high.

I've have a couple of guys on here already interested in the h&r springs...but if they pull out I'll let you know.

They will probably fight you about it unless you get a decent dealership but if you put any non-approved aftermarket part on your VW then based on their warranty statement they will refuse a warranty claim.

As I have said before, unless you are willing to either fight it or cop it on the chin, if you are seriously that worried about the warranty I highly recommend against modifying your car in any way shape or form.
