Good to see you are still full of interesting information and relevent comments, I am already quite "chill" thank you as after my many enquiries (which if I remember, you were very adverse to in the begining...) netting all members here some very interesting and informative information, I finally have my new car and I am extremely happy with it.

Every post you make makes me further convinced you are in fact an employee of VGA and if indeed you are, it is with the manner with which you post that is exactly the issue with VGA. If you are not, fine, but it seems that you are a bitter and twisted person that has nothing constructive to say other than "contact Jmac"..... Again, I will reitterate like I did 6 months ago, if you have nothing to contribute that is constructive or relevant, please refrain from posting here.

A subsiduary of it but a completely separate and individual company operating under license.

bottom line is....you're all speculating. Until the OP is able to provide more 'first hand' information of what has transpired between the sales person (dealer) and the purchaser, then none of us know the real reason.

If this is true at a VGA level, then it will be so they can bring their own cars in again for "walk ins" who haven't ordered yet, this is what they were doing last time.

And so they should. It's doing them alot of harm NOT having any stock to sell to "walk ins".

Spoke to my friend today. She said the dealer was Osborne Park . They claim that they were given no information themselves in regards to the cancellation. They think it has something to do with a shortage of components of some kind. She didn't ask too many questions at the time because she was in a mild state of shock. She said that when she saw the dealers number come up on her phone, she actually got excited thinking that her car might have arrived early! Now that she's had a couple of days to take it in she's going to get in touch with the dealer again to see if she can find out any further information. After 6 months waiting for a car, she deserves more than a quick phone call with no explanation. Hopefully I can shed more light on this next week.

Yep mine was one of those that got pushed back from September, was a bit upset although at least it did push my car in the MY12 build weeks so got the MDI & Bluetooth which I hadn't put on my original order.

Ordered car. Followed up later to get the NADCON screen dumps. Tracked the car to Perth. In my hands now.

Very friendly too.

I bought my car from Osborne Park Volkswagen myself, and have always had excellent service with them. I actually recommended my friend to them because of that.

Indeed irrelevant.

Having said that, even if there was little room for negotiation... I now have a car. Many do not.
