Hahahah sure was... Would have been around lunch time. I had just picked up my car from the workshop after the coilies were installed.

I had a neighbour in my old street (Young St) who was obsessed with VW's. From memory he had a MK5 GTI, MK5 R32, and a Passat R36. Wonder if it's his, maybe he bought it for one of his kids.

It could well have been, but who knows really? Gee I'd love it if I was given a GTI

Spotted a white GTI 5 door with Detroits and a Euro number plate parked on the side of Princes Highway in Sylvania, NSW.

Ah Sylvania, my home for 23 years

Spotted a White GTI trailing a White Audi S3 next to us on the south western motorway just as we were arriving in Sydney after our trip from Melbourne yesterday. Today I spotted a White TDI with the 17" wheels and foglights (I think) just outside Sydney Airport while Dad and I were walking and two Grey 5-door trendline's earlier today.
The Polo seems to be more popular in Sydney than Melbourne it seems
