my car is still in DealerSpec they say. so they are nowhere near ready to start production on my car the dealer still estimates july delivery though but that doesnt look too likely!

You never know mate, things can happen very quickly! But that being said, if the car doesn't get handed over to production in teh next 2 or so weeks, then your dealer is telling porkie pies.

Hi Gladiator, I think mine took about a month to appear. Placed the order in mid December 2010 and received the screen dump mid January 2011. I have a feeling that Gav's was the same as I recall. Just keep asking your dealer nicely, that's what there there for

Um yeah... don't just keep asking them.

Ask them that you'd like to receive the NADCON output when you've made the deal. Then ask them again in a month if they haven't sent it by then. Keep in mind guys that the dealers are doing you all a favour by sending you this information. There is absolutely NO obligation that they must send it to you. In fact, there are many reasons why they should NOT be sending you the information.

So don't harrass your sales guy! Because if the dealers complain that too much time is being taken up responding to constant enquiries about NADCON, you may find that they turn around and make a blanket rule to no longer send the details to anyone...

Yeah, good point Corey. I have a pretty good relationship with my dealer and he automatically sends me an update every week or so. My GTI is still in production at the moment.

Here is a video of it being picked up this afternoon from the depot, as it was delivered from Horsham
Going to head into the Dandenong mountains tonight for a cruise and having dinner up there.
