Yep - that's a good one too! However, if you have "questions" about the configuration screen (such as it looking as though an option is missing, or they have specified an option which you didn't ask for), ask your dealer nicely about it. Some of the "options" in the configuration screen are standard inclusions in Australia, or seem to be for something else when they're really what you want. We've had members in the Golf area kick up a big stink when it has in fact been ordered correctly - they just didn't understand what the screen was telling them

Incidentally,my dealer has being keeping tap on the NADCON and to be fair,they would love to sale cars that are physically here in Australia as they are as much dire straits.I have ordered a 5door simply white and will ask for the eta data.Guess if you all are getting your stocks ,i suppose mine wont be too far behind.Looking forward asap.hehe! cheers tay

I've read about a few ppl sourcing 5 door polo's with no options at a few dealers who have them in stock in their showrooms. Have they all run out now that you have to order in the Polo's with no options?

Reds my favourite colour and actually had that on my mark 5gti before.My missus like white and we ordered the car i week later after test driving the first batch of demos.We were unfortunate twice as we bought a suzuki swift RE4 white too early as the polo gti was not here yet and got rid off it thinking we could get the new polo gti asap.We had it for 6months only.

In my case it took about 3 months before I had any meaningful information re schedule for production of my vehicle. If my understanding is correct though you should be able to get a copy of the specification of your car as entered into NADCON. This is a good idea as you can ensure that it has been ordered correctly. I'd suggest you talk to your Dealer and have them check it weekly and send you updates by e-mail. my Dealer has been more than happy to do this.

Depending on the dealer - it can take a week before you will be able to receive a copy of your car's config from NADCON. Some dealers may wait until after the cooling off period of the contract before taking the time to enter the car in the system.

Alright, just received the latest NADCON update. Seems like Gav and I have the same incept dates and more than likely our GTIs will be sharing the same Love Boat over to Oz. Now for the VIN#

I would be more worried about Frostee's 5 dr if I was you, thinks it's better than everyone else with that sunroof No need to change the pic you got the best one, the poster boy version....wouldn't it be hard getting a pic of the mutated 5dr?
